Unit 6: Wayang Golek (Menak, Wahyu, Sunda, Cepak, Tengul)

Unit 6 contains puppet shows made of cloth and wood. At the beginning of its development, puppet show developed on the north coast of Java. So there are allegations that the puppet show is the result of acculturation of Indonesian culture with the culture of migrants. Until the end of its development the puppet show developed in the Sunda area. Puppet show has a variety of good stories from Menak, Testament Scriptures, Ramayana and folklore.
