Sadewa

SAHADEWA or Sadewa who in Javanese puppetry is also called Tangsen (= fruit of plants whose leaves can be used and used for medicine) is the fifth / youngest son of King Pandu Dewanata, king of Astina country with empress Dewi Madrim, daughter of King Mandrapati with Dewi Tejawati from Mandaraka country. He was born twin with his brother, Nakula. Sadewa also had three brothers and one father, the son of King Pandu and Dewi Kunti, from the country of Mandura, named; Puntadewa, Bima / Werkundara and Arjuna.

Sadewa is the incarnation of Bathara Aswin, the Physician. He is very proficient in the science of kasidan (Javanese) / a mystic. Adept at riding horses and adept at using arrow and javelin weapons. Aside from being very powerful, Sadewa also has Aji Purnamajati given by Ditya Sapulebu, an effective Mretani country; can understand and remember clearly on all events.

Sadewa has an honest, loyal, obedient, compassionate character, knows how to use and can keep a secret. He lives in the Bawenatalun / Bumiretawu knight, the territory of the Amarta state. From the marriage he got a son named Bambang Widapaksa / Sidapaksa).

After finishing the Bharatayuda war, Sedewa became the governor of the Astina state accompanying Prabu Kalimataya / Prabu Yudhistrira. At the end of his story, Sahadewa died moksa with his four siblings.
